Wake surfing has been a topic of heated debate over the past several years, with discussions playing out on lakes, in town meetings, and even within proposed legislation.
It’s crucial to approach this issue from all angles, prioritize scientific evidence, and work toward a solution grounded in facts. Unlike the groups proposing these bans, we don't cherry pick single data points and studies to fit a narrative. We take a comprehensive look at all the studies, and determine where they are similar and where they differ to assess the true impact wake boats may have, especially when compared to historical data and other boating activities found on our lakes.
